Disney is filled with reasonable priced, safe & clean hotels and this place is not what it appears to be online. I went to the front desk and asked why I was charged almost $500 when this was already paid for through Expedia.the gentleman apologized and said that he had taken care of what Omar had done and reversed the charges.long story short, I would avoid this property at all costs. Next morning we got ready to head to the parks and I found out my bank had put a hold on my credit card because not only did Magic Moments charge me the $50 deposit and $247 dollars for the 2 nights, they added another $50 dollar charge and additional $136 to my charges. Thinking this was indeed taken care of we went to bed. Expedia contacted Magic Moments while I held on the line and came back explaining that everything was taken care of. I contacted Expedia once we were settled and wanted to understand why I had to double pay and why they did not have my reservation. Each night we had a lot of homeless and prostitutes that walked this area. The area, however, is great for shopping and lots of restaurants nearby but safety was a worry here. The pictures shown through Expedia are EXTREMELY misleading. The curtains were stained and filthy and being on a busy road it was extremely loud. The bed sheets and towels all had hair on them and the shower also had someones old hair. The vinyl floor was filthy and filled with bugs, so much so, we could not walk around without our shoes on. This clearly was an old Motel 6 that underwent some cheap renovations. After being told they did not have my full reservation OR payment we went to our room. He told me they did not have the money and I had to give him my CC. I again told him that I had already pre-paid for 3 NIGHTS through Expedia and again showed him the recipe through Expedia. I was then told I needed to pay for those 2 nights in addition to a $50 security deposit. He told me that they only had 2 and the third night they were already booked/sold out so the best he could do was leave a note for the manager. I explained that we had booked 3 and showed him my reservation confirmation through Expedia. Omar came out after almost 10 minutes and after giving him my name he stated we were there for 2 nights. After about 5 minutes a security guard came in and I asked him if anyone was there so we could check-in and I was told the gentleman was in the bathroom and he would be out in a few minutes. I hollered "hello" a number of times and was met by silence. I went in to front office to check in and there was no-one there. ![]() We arrived around 9:30pm to this hotel and pulling in I was already a little worried because there was a woman on in the street in front of hotel that was trying to flag us down (clearly she was looking for business) and once we had entered into the property I really thought we were in the wrong place, it looked like an old Motel 6. I chose this room based on all of the reviews but probably should have explored this a little further, otherwise families traveling to Disney must not have that high of an expectation for hotel accommodations. ![]()
